Using Your Reputation to Increase Conversion on Your Website

The more people see your site, the bigger your brand grows, right? The more people see what you have to offer, the more likely people are to buy your products. Converting those who view your site into paying customers can be the challenge. However, there is a range of processes you can undertake in order to maximize the conversion of your website. One of the major things you can do is to boost (and then utilize) your company’s reputation. For example, if someone has a business that does not address customer complaints, they likely won’t have a great reputation. If that is the case, it is likely that they will lose customers rather than consistently convert new ones. On the bright side, the opposite is also true! The better your reputation as a business, the better your chances are of bringing in the big bucks. How can you use your reputation to increase your conversion?

Boost, Boost, and Then Boost Some More!

No matter what you are trying to sell, the first thing that you need to do is take a look at your reputation as a whole. If you find that there are some flaws in customer testimonials or reviews, be sure to address them immediately. Before worrying about bringing in new customers, take care of the ones you already have. Publicly addressing concerns and showing genuine compassion toward your clients brings a more favorable light to your company as a whole. This does two things.

Firstly, when prospective clients see the transaction taking place, they will think more highly of you and are more likely to purchase something because they have more faith that the transaction will go smoothly. Since you took care of those people, they are more certain that you will take good care of them. It also increases the opinion held by the originally dissatisfied customer. This means they will more than likely return. It also means that they are likely to speak more highly of your company in the future, leaving better testimonials and spreading the love by word-of-mouth to others who share the same interests that they do. You can never work too hard to please your customers. It will surely benefit you in the end more than you could imagine.

Don’t Be Afraid to Experiment

Once your reputation is at its peak, take a look at different aspects of your blog or website. A great reputation means you likely have a good flow of traffic on your site. The trick now is to convert them into paying customers. For starters, bring more call to action’s to your site. Figure out who exactly is your target audience and call out to them. Make it easy for them to convert so it seems nearly effortless. Without a call to action, most won’t bother, even if your company is in good standing. However, there is no right or wrong way to create a CTA. You may need to experiment with what you say and where you say it. When you find one that works, spread it around. Tweak it here and there in order to get a better effect, but don’t change it too drastically.

You can also look at the general set-up of your site. The more complicated things seem, the less likely those scrolling through will take the time to actually put in the work to make a purchase. Make the buying process simple and straightforward with as many options as possible. Making sure that your clients know that the process is as safe and secure as possible will also boost your reputation, which only increases your traffic from there!
